Acrobat 6.0 Installation

Hallo MCSEboard,

 

ich habe hier eine XP-Maschine, auf der sich Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional nicht installieren lässt. Am Anfang der Installation kommt der Fehler Error 1606: Could not access Network Location 8\Startup. Ich habe schon die Einträge in UserShellFolders und ShellFolders in HKCU und HKLM überprüft, die stimmen alle. Andere MSI-Pakete kann ich installieren ...

Ansonsten mal das MSI direkt mit MSIEXEC und Schalter "/l*vx C:\mylog.log" starten

Das sagt mir jetzt auch nichts. Aber irgendwo muss er doch 1606 aufwerfen und erkannbar sein warum.

Mag sein, ich erkenne aber gar nix ... :D Da steht immer, 8\Startup nicht gefunden werden kann. Ich drucke mir das Log mal aus und schaue es mir genau an ...

Ich glaube, er meint den Startup-Folder von office.

 

Ist da zufällig Office 2003 installiert ? Ist es Version 6.01 oder neuer ?

Office 2003 ist in der Tat installiert, Adobe kann ich auf einem anderen Rechner, der ebenfalls ein installiertes Office 2003 hat, installieren. So wie es aussieht, findet er einen Startupfolder-Eintrag von Word XP und ich glaube nicht, dass das jemals installiert war (das ist ein fast neuer Rechner) ... Ich finde auch keine OfficeXP-Einträge auf dem Rechner ...

Keine Ahnung ob es geht, aber viellcht entpackst Du mal die Installation mit MSIEXEC /A und wendest darauf das neuste verfügbare Update an...

hab im Acrobat Forum gerade für dich was gefunden, es liegt an Office 2k3.

Lösung ist zwar für Acrobat 7, aber ich denke da gleicher Fehler, könnte auch gleiche Lösung helfen.

When Office is installed, the installer looks for where the registry keys say Office 2000, XP, and 2003 are installed. If the key is missing or points to an invalid location, you get the 1606 error. When Office is not installed, it doesn't even look, and why it works then.

 

If you only have Office 2003 installed, copy the bold text below into a file and name it acrobatfix.reg and double click it. This will import the keys into the registry. If you don't have Office 2003, just fix the lines accordingly. Office 2000 is 9.0, Office XP is 10.0, and Office 2003 is 11.0. You should only include the sets of lines for versions of Office you DON'T have installed.

Hallo zusammen,

 

selbiges Problem hatte ich demletzt mit dem Acrobat Pro 7.0 in Zusammenhang mit ACAD 2004 ( nicht LT ).

Muß mal schauen ob die Einträge auch da wirken. Adobe Support war das Thema noch nicht bekannt gewesen .

Das war´s leider noch nicht, jetzt kommt Error 1606: 8\Xlstart :D , aber jetzt weiss ich, wonach ich suchen muss ...
