beim Client (Outlook 2010) kommt, dass "Das die Verbindung mit dem Microsoft Exchange Server nicht verfügbar ist. Die Netzwerkkarte besitzt keinen Standardgateway".

Hallo zusammen,
ich habe unter VMWare Workstation folgende Konstellation:
- DC
- EX01 mit Exchange 2010 (Standard Installation)
- EX02 mit Exchange 2010 (Standard Installation)
- Client mit Windows 7 und Outlook 2010
Alle Server und Clients haben die Netzwerkkarte auf "intern" stehen und alle kein Standard Gateway. Nun sagt Microsoft, dass ohne Standard Gateway ein Registry Eintrag Abhilfe schafft. Error messages when you try to connect Outlook 2007 to Exchange Server: "The action cannot be completed" or "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable" or "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook"
Diesen Eintrag gab es am Client nicht, also habe ich diesen hinzugefügt. Leider kein Erfolg. Liegt es an Windows 7?
Habe bisher auch keine weiteren Hilfestellungen diesbezüglich gefunden.
Habt Ihr noch eine Idee, was ich übersehen haben könnte?

Hallo liebes Forum,
ich habe gestern mich an der Exchange 70-662 (in deutsch) versucht. Nach MS-Press, virtuelle Umgebungen hat es aber nicht gereicht mit 660 Punkten.
Das heißt noch mehr üben, üben, üben.
Fragen waren es 50 Stück, gefühlte 10 Fragen mit 10 möglichen Antworten und ca. 1 Stunde und 50 Minuten zeit. Zum Teil gab es sogar Antworten auf Englisch.
Denke das ich mitte März einen 2 Versuch starte.
Viel Erfolg den anderen noch.

vielen Dank für deine Antwort vorab.
Wir haben aktuell 9 Hosts auf 3 Cluster verteilt. Der "Hauptcluster" hat 6 Hosts.
Unsere Hauptidee ist das VC als VM. Ein Kollege erzählte aber auch etwas von VCenter "Linked Mode". Zudem gibt es, wenn ich es richtig gesehen habe, noch weitere VC Server Versionen ala Heartbeat.
Gibt es auf der VMWare Seite nicht ein Grundüberblick über die Möglichkeiten oder finde ich diesen einfach nicht?

Diesen würden wir nun gerne Hochverfügbar auslegen. Hier gibt es bei VMWare verschiedene Ansätze und Möglichkeiten.

Hm ... wenn bei wenig Traffic schon so hohe Latenz kommt tipp ich mal auf Duplex mismatch.

die Latenzzeiten von 60ms sind bei uns leider "standard" :-/
Zum Teil kann es vorkommen, das ein PING ganz verloren geht...

wir haben in einer Außenstelle ein kleines Problem mit den Antwortzeiten.
Sobald wir z.B. eine Remoteverbindung zu einem Client aufbauen, schwanken diese zwischen 100-800ms. Im Normalfall schwankt dies zwischen 60-80ms.
Folgende Struktur:
Standort Firma:
- 2 ISP Anbieter mit jeweils 10MBit
- 2 Cisco 2800 Router (VPN Router) mit IOS Version 12.4(9)T5
Standort Außenstelle:
- VPN 836/876 Router in diesem Fall IOS Version 12.4(15)T10
- 1 Cisco C2960 mit IOS Version 12.2(25)SEE2
Die DSL Business Leitung soll laut Telekom in Ordnung sein.

Ich suche erst mal allgemein nach Virtualisierung. So das man einen "gesunden" Überblick über bestimmte Bereiche hat und das ganze Hersteller neutral betrachtet wird. Richtung "Consulting" für Anfänger.
Dachte evtl. das das Buch sowas behandeln könnte, allerdings bezogen auf HyperV.

Bücher und Prüfungen gibt es in englisch oder deutsch. Ist Dir überlassen.
Bei den Prüfungen wird aber immer mehr R2 Themen abgefragt, diese sind nicht im Buch. Soweit ich aber informiert bin, sollen neue Bücher mit Inhalt vom R2 herauskommen.
