Hallo! Ich möchte demnächst meinen WSUS in einer virtuellen Server 2012 R2 Instanz installieren. Diese Instanz wird von einem Server 2012 (nicht R2) gehostet. Ich habe das bereits mit einem anderen Rechner (Windows 10) vorbereitet, indem ich das Hyper-V Feature installiert habe, die 2012 R2 Iso eingelesen habe etc. "EDIT: zur Erklärung warum ich die VM auf meinem Windows 10 Rechner vorbereitet habe: dieser Windows 10 Rechner steht an einem anderen Standort und hat einen deutlich schnelleren Internetzugriff für Updates etc. Der Server 2012 hat eine 1 Mbit/s Anbindung." Das hat alles funktioniert, also habe ich die VM exportiert und wollte sie dann mit meinem Server 2012 Hyper-V wieder importieren. Das hat allerdings nicht funktioniert, da er nichts gefunden hat. Also habe ich versucht eine neue VM zu erstellen um dann die .vhd zu importieren. Dann kam allerdings das hier: Beim erstellen der VM unter Server 2012 ist mir aufgefallen, dass ich keine Generation wählen konnte. Kann es sein dass der Server 2012 die Generation 2 noch gar nicht unterstützt? Wenn ja, ist es möglich Hyper-V irgendwie zu updaten? Oder gibt es einen Workaround um die Server 2012 R2 Festplatte, die ich bereits erstellt habe, doch zu importieren? LG

Hallo zusammen, leider ist unser Brother hl 5020 nicht Air Print kompatibel - ich kann also vom iPad nicht direkt Aufträge an den Drucker senden. Das Feature wäre sehr hilfreich, allerdings werden wir uns dafür keinen neuen Drucker anschaffen. Jetzt meine Frage: ist es möglich die Druckaufträge anderweitig durchzuführen? Wir hätten bspw. Einen Windows Server 2012 auf dem dieser Drucker auch installiert ist. Ist jetzt natürlich die Frage ob das iPad mit dem kommunizieren mag..;) Ich habe schon alle möglichen Airprint Activator ausprobiert, allerdings funktionieren die scheinbar alle nicht mehr.. Habt ihr da eine Idee? LG!

Wie Funktioniert die Umleitung von Druckern etc?

Hallo zusammen, wir werden uns demnächst ~20 neue PC's anschaffen müssen. Wir verwenden aktuell nur eine Terminalanwendung, allerdings könnte bald auch eine lokal ausgeführte SQL Anwendung dazukommen. Sonst wird nichts auf dem PC laufen - kein Office, keine E-Mail Anwendungen etc.. Der PC muss also nicht sonderlich leistungsfähig sein. Gewünscht sind: - SSD (auf der muss Platz für das Betriebssystem sein, mehr aber auch nicht, da alles auf dem Server läuft) - WIn10 Pro - RJ45 (kein WLAN) - i3 der 6. Generation müsste völlig ausreichen - leider ein CD-Laufwerk da wir eine medizinische Einrichtung sind und einige wenige Patienten mit CD's kommen die dann Therapieberichte enthalten -4 GB RAM Zusagen würde mir der OptiPlex 3040 Micro allerdings hat der kein CD-Laufwerk und die Variante mit SSD kostet schon knapp 480€.. Dazu kommt dass ein WLAN Adapter verbaut ist, den wir nicht brauchen. Wie groß der PC ist, ist auch völlig egal, da dieser sowieso fix platziert ist. Könnt ihr mir da etwas empfehlen? (Produkte von TERRA würde ich gerne vermeiden - der Boot Button klemmt ständig, außerdem sind miserable SSD's verbaut) Liebe Grüße!

Wie lösche ich denn die db ohne andere Dienste wie Remote zu zerschießen?

So habe ich es bereits mehrmals gemacht und am Ende waren dann immer noch alle Daten im WSUS vorhanden - sprich alle Computer wurden angezeigt, alle Updates wurden angezeigt etc. Die Updates mussten zwar neu heruntergeladen werden, sie wurden aber trotzdem angezeigt.

Also sprich das Feature "WID", oder? Allerdings würde dass dann vermutlich auch die Terminal Funktionalität zerschießen

Ich würde es vielleicht mit dem WSUS noch einmal probieren, wenn es eine Möglichkeit gäbe, den WSUS komplett zurückzusetzen - also inklusive Datenbank.

Hallo, Nachdem der Wsus ja leider extrem unzuverlässig mit Windows 10 arbeitet, muss ich nun leider eine andere Lösung für die Verteilung von updates finden. Windows 10 hat ja standardmäßig die Option "im lokalen Netzwerk nach Updates" suchen aktiviert. Das funktioniert leider alles andere als zuverlässig. In meiner Testumgebung habe ich 5 Win 10 pro 1607 Clients bei denen diese Option aktiv ist. Sie sind in keiner Domäne aber im selben Netzwerk, selbes vlan etc. Leider hat trotzdem jeder Client die Updates vom Microsoft Server gezogen. Jetzt meine Frage: gibt es eine Möglichkeit die clients dazu zu zwingen nur im lokalen Netzwerk die Updates zu ziehen (logisch ist natürlich dass mind ein Client von Microsoft ziehen müsste)? Alles andere würde unsere Internetverbindung nicht packen. Liebe Grüße!

Wie gesagt, werde ich den Server heute Abend wieder zurücksetzen und die Upgrades neu synchronisieren. Wo ist jetzt das Problem..?!

Ich werde heute Abend versuchen den WSUS neu aufzusetzen nach der Anleitung von Sunny: Upgrades + W10 deaktivieren im WSUS, Serverbereinigung laufen lassen. KB3159706 deinstallieren, Server neu starten. Jetzt KB3159706 wieder installieren und erst jetzt nach einem vollständigen Reboot W10 bzw. Upgrades wieder aktivieren. Mit dem Unterschied dass ich den WSUS komplett neu aufsetze. Ich werde dann berichten wobei der Download das letzte mal über 24h gedauert hat.

Kann deine Einstellung absolut nachvollziehen.. Gibt es die Möglichkeit das Update irgendwo manuell runterzuladen um es dann manuell bei den Clients zu installieren? Und zwar wenn möglich nicht per media creation tool. Ich habe alles abgearbeitet bis auf das Neuaufsetzen des Wsus - das würde ich gerne vermeiden..

Es scheint jetzt zwar zu funktionieren, allerdings downloadet der Server jetzt schon seit 12 h ... Wir haben zwar nur eine 1mbit Leitung aber das sollte eigentlich trotzdem nicht so lange dauern. Genehmigt habe ich nur das Win 10 Pro 1607 Update..

Nach eben dieser Anleitung bin ich vorgegangen. Ja, dann werde ich den WSUS wohl neu aufsetzen müssen - kann mir zwar nicht vorstellen dass das was bringt aber mal sehen.

Habe ich alles gemacht und sogar das Update 1607 manuell gelöscht mit: $s = Get-WsusServer $s.SearchUpdates(“version 1607”) | foreach { $s.DeleteUpdate($_.Id.UpdateId) } Hat alles nichts gebracht.

Ich bin auch nicht davon ausgegangen dass es ein grundsätzliches Problem ist. Bei mir läuft Version 6.2.9200.16384. Mir ist leider eben erst aufgefallen dass für das Anniversary Update auf dem Server KB3159706 installiert sein muss, da das Update ansonsten wohl nicht decrypted werden kann. Ich habe das eben nachgeholt, allerdings bleibt der Fehler trotzdem bestehen.
