DNS CNAME subdomain entry to an extern url

Hello guys

My problem seemed simple first but I don't get it to work.

I want to redirect from:

tech.myfirm.com

to:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScJCYDMZB9jAAmlO5O

Please note that the key in the redirect url has upper case characters too. 

When I want to make a cname entry in our windows server DNS, it gets converted to lowercase but also then it doesn't give me the result from the google site. It just goes nowhere and tells me the site can't be found.

If I type the url in the browser directly it works. Also the lowercase version gives me at least the error site from google.

What am I doing wrong?

Do you use a proxy server for the client internet connection?
