Welche Prüfungen?

Hallo zusammen,

 

ich habe mir vorgenommen meinen MCSA noch mit dem MCDBA zu ergänzen. Was brauch ich dazu. Sorry, ist vielleicht eine doofe Frage, denn Microsoft schreibt auf den MCP Seiten die Prüfungen 70-228 und 70-229 (SQL-Server 2000) aus. Diese Prüfungen werden im Mai 2009 eingestellt.

Gibt es auch eine Möglichkeit den MCDBA durch SQL Server 2005 Prüfungen zu erlangen?

 

Mein Problem ist das ich nirgendwo ein offizielles Statement dazu finde. Hat hier vielleicht jemand eine eindeutige Antwort für mich..

alle Möglichkeiten zum Erlangen der MCDBA-Zertifizierung sind bei MS gelistet.

Geht also nur mit 228 und 229. Zum Thema SQL 2005:

Candidates who administer, develop, or analyze Microsoft SQL Server 2005 databases should consider the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) credentials. These credentials give IT professionals a simpler and more targeted framework to display their technical skills and their ability to create database solutions for business problems.[/Quote]

zum Thema MCDBA hatt ich ja auch Infos bei MS gefunden. Jedoch wars nicht ganz schlüssig eben.

Eine Frage hab ich dazu noch.. Verfallen die MCITP Prüfungen auch nach 3 Jahren oder besteht das Zert. auf lebenszeit?.

Nein. Aber wieso auch? War mal geplant, aber hat sich komplett erledigt.

Your MCTS, MCITP, or MCPD certifications will retire when Microsoft discontinues mainstream support for the related technology. Typically, mainstream support is discontinued 7 to 10 years after the initial product release. When support ends, your related certification will retire.

Q. Is there a recertification policy for Professional Series certifications?

A. In our initial communications about the Professional Series certifications, we announced that a "refresh" or recertification of the MCITP and MCPD credentials would be required within three years. This policy has changed. To address the needs of our worldwide customer base, the updated policy is to retire a certification when mainstream support for the related technology retires, as described at the top of this page. There is no action required from you if you earned a Professional Series certification before the policy change; the updated policy applies to your certification, which will be valid until mainstream support for the related technology retires.
