Hi,

 

ich habe hier ein kleines Kundenproblem. Vielleicht ist von Euch ja schon jemand darüber gestolpert.

 

Original Anfrage:

 

"ich habe nur ne kleine frage bei der Zuweisung eines neuen Paketes in den Gruppenrichtlinien bekomme ich folgende Meldung:

 

Die Größe des Objekts überschreitet die vom Administrator festgelegte maximale Größe.

 

Kleinere msi Pakete kann ich leicht veröffentlichen es ist also tatsächlich

ein Problem mit größeren msi Paketen. "

 

Gibt es irgendwo eine Möglichkeit an der Größeneinstellung zu drehen?

laut MS-Knowledge Base kann man den Wert nicht verändern.

Hier ein Auszug (Q262166):

 

SYMPTOMS

When you assign an application with a Microsoft Windows Installer-based installation program to the Windows 2000 Active Directory, you may receive the following error message:

 

The size of this object exceeds the maximum size set by the Administrator.

 

CAUSE

This error is due to a size limitation in the database code that is used in the Windows 2000 Active Directory. This is currently a limitation that is usually exposed by repackaged installation programs.

 

RESOLUTION

When you attempt to distribute multiple applications in a single installation package, this error may occur. Therefore, if you can distribute each application separately, this issue can likely be resolved.

 

There is no registry key or Windows 2000 Active Directory setting that can be used to raise the size for the record limit.
