IIS replizieren u.ä.

Hallo

 

Ich habe webs, ftps, newsgroups welche ich von einem Server auf den anderen verschieben (kopieren, export-/importieren oder replizieren) möchte.

iissync.exe klappt irgendwie auch nicht da das laut meinen Informationen nur auf Windows 2000 Advanced Server und nicht auf Windows 2000 Server läuft.

Gibts andere Methoden, es geht vorallem um die Newsgroups die ich kopieren möchte.

Soweit ich weiss, klappt iissync nur in Cluster-umgebungen, habe es aber nie selbst benutzt.

Another possibility is a utility called iissync.exe, which Microsoft provides with IIS. This utility duplicates an IIS setup to another server, but you must use it with a cluster of servers. The utility requires Windows NT Server, Enterprise Edition (NTS/E), and you need to set up clustered servers for load balancing and failover. I've talked to some administrators who have used iissync.exe to duplicate IIS servers without installing clustered servers or NTS/E, but I haven't tested it myself.
