NOTE: 512e drives require MSA 1040/2040 firmware version GL200P002 or newer Das mit der Firmware sollte kein Problem sein für die Platten, einfach halt die neuste installieren, oder? Ist RAID5 gut gewählt oder doch etwas anderes? Ich benötige Performance da das ein Shared Storage für einen VMWare Cluster wird. Da ist RAID 6 langsamer. gruesse

Wie hat der Befehl genau auszusehen? Hallo, - wir haben keinen Proxy im Einsatz. - Die Server werden auch nicht über WSUS bedient sondern direkt. - Win EventLog: Nichts was ich erkennen würde was damit zusammen hängen könnte - SoftwareDistribution Ordner gelöscht und neu anlegen lassen - Server 2012 Std 64 Bit Leider habe ich sonst auch nicht mehr informationen. Hallo, ich habe hier 2 Server 21012 Std stehen. Auch nach mehrfachen Neustart der Server finden sie keine neuen Updates. Ich klicke in der Systemsteuerung auf Updates und es kommt: Es wird nach Updates gesucht..... Dasd dauert nun schon 2 Tage. Software Distribution Ordner auf einem der beiden habe ich bereits gelöscht und wurde auch neu angelegt. Was kann das sein? Wo kann ich nachschauen? Wie kann ichs beheben :) ? gruesse

Hallo, Server Anzahl: 13 Virtualisierungsplatform: VMWare VSphere 6.5 mit Standard Lizenz und VCenter Server VMs: DC (Server 2012 Std), Exchange (Server 2012 Std), Reporting, Monitoring (linux), Buchhaltung (SFirm, Lexware), Datenbank (linux), Remote-VM für Lexware, Zeiterfassung, USV (ahcid auf linux), anderer kleinkram wie temporäre lokale memcached server etc. Größe: schwer zu sagen. Das richtet sich danach wie oft gesichert wird und wie lange vorgehalten wird. Derzeit haben wir 30TB zur Verfügung. Mann kann aber sagen das wenn ich alle VMs an einem Tag voll sichere ca. 3 - 4 TB zusammen kommen. Alleine die Fileserver Partition hat 2 TB. Backup-Target: Synology RS2416RP+ NAS mit 4 mal 10TB Platten im RAID5 und 30 TB (Bonding mit 2 Netzwerkkarten) Ich habe 2 Ansätze jetzt: 1. Zwei neue VMs mit Server 2016 Std. Eine davon nimmt den BE15 Server vom DC (Der DC ist dann wieder dediziert und der BE15 Server auch). Also vom DC umziehen auf den einen neuen Server 2016 Std. Dieser sichert alle VMS bis auf sich selbst. Zudem kann man ihn zum zweiten DC hochstufen. Der zweite dazugekommene Server 2016 Std bekommt auch einen BE15 Server spendiert und sichert nur den ersten BE15 Server komplett (ohne dessen Backups, die liegen ja auf dem NAS). 2. Ich erstelle eine neue PArtition (1TB) auf dem shared storage der VCenter Umgebung. Diese binde ich in den jetzigen DC (inkl. BE15 Server) ein und nutze diese für die Windows Server Sicherung des DCs. Auch hier nur Bare-Metal und nicht noch Laufwerk D (Fileserver Partition). Fileserver Partiton wird normal über den ersten BE15 Server auf dem DC selbst gesichert. Ich tendiere ja zu 1 aber kostenlos ist 2 :) Bei 2 stellt sich mir noch die Frage: Wie stelle ich das wieder her wenn der Server nicht hoch fährt? Mit Server 2012 DVD Booten und Sicherung wiederherstellen? gruesse
