set specific network route via PPP-Int. (without IP)

Is there a possibility to configure a specific network route via the PPP-Interface (without specifying an IP-Address).

 

in a way like this:

 

"route add x.x.x.x MASK 255.255.255.255 IF 2"

or

"route add x.x.x.x MASK 255.255.255.255 ppp"

 

What I want to do is the following.

I would like to remove the Default-Gateway and set a specific network-route

to a node via the PPP Interface.

As the IP-Address of the Default-Gateway changes every time I dial in - and I

want to automate the whole process it would be nice if I could say "gateway ppp"

or something - like it is done on routers.

 

Do you know if there is a possibility ?
