Kann wirklich keiner helfen? Hat wenigstens jemand ne Idee wie ich das für Windows Update zuständige ActiveX Control deinstallieren kann, um es nochmal zu installieren? Gruß rosid

Hallo, habe folgendes Problem: Ich habe unter WinXP Prof SP2 die automatischen Updates auf "Benachrichtigen, aber nicht automatisch downloaden oder installieren" eingestellt. Die erforderlichen Dienste (Automatische Updates, Intelligenter Hintergrundübertragungsdienst, usw.) sind alle auf Automatisch und gestartet. Wenn nun das Icon in der Taskleiste auftaucht und mir sagt, dass Updates verfügbar sind, kann ich draufklicken und ich bekomme die Updates angezeigt. Wenn ich dann den Download starte, bleibt das Icon 1-2 Sekunden stehen und verschwindet dann. Wenn ich auf die Microsoft Update Seite gehe und die Updates herunterlade funktioniert das reibungslos. Weiss jemand Rat?
