Hier nun zum Abschluss die Erklärung, warum mein Netzwerk plötzlich nicht mehr so wollte wie ich: Grund war die Installation von TrueImage ------
After installing Acronis True Image 6.0 in Windows NT / 2000 / XP, you see the error message "Not enough server storage is available to process this command," or "Not enough memory to complete transaction. Close some applications and retry." Clients cannot access network shares.
The problem is that Microsoft Lanman Server has a fixed limit on how many filters it will support. Since Acronis True Image 6.0 installs some filters to support backups, the total number of filters can exceed the server's limit.
To work around this you can increase this limit. Please, follow the following steps.
If you run Windows NT 4.0:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type regedit and then click OK.
Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
In the right pane, double-click the value IRPStackSize. If the value does not exist, then you must create it. To do this, right-click the right pane while in the Parameters folder of the registry. Point to New, and then click DWord Value. Type IRPStackSize. It is case sensitive, so be careful to type it exactly.
Change the Base to decimal.
In the Value Data box, increase the value by 5 then click OK.
Close the Registry Editor.
Restart the computer.
If you run Windows 2000/XP:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type regedit and then click OK.
Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
In the right pane, delete the value IRPStackSize. If you delete this value Lanman Server will not have any limits.
Close the Registry Editor.
Restart the computer.

Dieses Beispiel zeigt, wie man nur durch die simple Installation neuer Software sein System durcheinander bringen kann.
