Leider komme ich nicht wirklich weiter. Ich verstehe wirklich nicht, was WSUS für ein Problem mit den Vista-Updates hat.

Ich hab nur 4000 Zeichen zur Verfügung, was für die kompletten Logs zu knapp ist.
Welchen Teil der Logs willst du sehen?

Hallo,
ich habe seit einiger Zeit ein Problem mit WSUS 2.0 SP1. Im Netzwerk gibt es einen Vista-Client der auch richtig von WSUS erkannt wird.
Die Updates für Vista werden auch angezeigt aber nicht heruntergeladen. Fehler: "Dateien für dieses Update konnten nicht gedownloadet werden."
Der Vista-Client aktualisiert seinen Status auch täglich mit WSUS findet aber natürlich keine Updates.
Alles Updates für XP funktionieren normal nur mit Vista-Updates gibt es diese Probleme. Hat jemand auch diese Probleme oder gibt es vielleicht schon eine Lösung dafür?

Hallo,
ich habe gesehen, dass es schon viele Beiträge zum diesem Thema gibt. Trotzdem würde mich interessieren, was ihr zu meinem Ansatz sagt.
Also, es geht um einen W2K-Domäne mit 2 DC. Auf einem DC läuft Exchange (okay, da läßt sich auch drüber streiten), eine Datenbank (Caché) für die Fibu und eine Lohn-/Gehaltssoftware (SBS). Auf dem zweiten DC läuft WSUS und der MCAfee-ProtectionPilot die beide MS SQL Server Express nutzen. AD läuft natürlich auch noch.
Als Sicherungskonzept habe ich mir folgendes überlegt.
- Image beider Server (Acronis TrueImage 9.1) 1x pro Woche Voll, sonst Differentiell
- Tägl. Vollsicherung der Systemlaufwerke beider Server inkl. Systemstatus und Exchange mit NTBackup
Die Sicherung erfolgt auf wechselbare externe Festplatten.
Sollte es nun zum Crash kommen, habe ich vor zunächst das Image des betroffenen Servers zurückzuspielen und dann mit NTBackup noch einmal das Systemlaufwerk und den Systemstatus wiederherzustellen. Das Ganze natürlich vom Netzwerk getrennt. Danach würde ich den Server wieder ins Netzwerk hängen.
Auf diese Weise spare ich mit die Neuinstallation von Windows (wg. Zugriff auf NTBackup) und der Anwendersoftware.
Ist diese Vorgehensweise zu empfehlen oder kann es auch hier zu Problemen mit AD kommen? Müsste immer auch der Systemstatus vom 2. DC wiederhergestellt werden?
