  2. linux mit vmware unter w2k starten ....probleme !

    hi all,

     

    bei mir läuft ein suse 8.1 und ein win2kpro auf einer partionierten hdd.

     

    meine vorgehensweise war wie folgt :

     

    mit partition magic partitionen erstellt

    hda1 c:\ -> ntfs !

    hda5 swap für linux

    hda6 \ für linux

     

    w2k installiert -> suse 8.1 -> vmware 4.0 .

     

    bis hierher war ja alles easy . beide os lassen sich separat starten.

    wenn ich nun unter w2k in der vmwarebox das suse starten will, dann

    startet er die virtualbox , man sieht auch den bootvorgang des pc

    kann dann linux auswählen ->> dann geht alles nur noch drunter

    und drueber ... die maus verschwindet -> tastatur eingabe geht nicht

    mehr und irgendwann ist die virtualbox schwarz mit folgenden zeilen

    ->>>

    kernel (hd0.5)/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda6 hdc=ide-scsi vga=791

    [linux-bzImage, setup=0x1400, size=0x1078c41

    initrd (hd5.0)/boot/initrd

    [linux-initrd @ 0xfea1000 , 0x3e4f6 bytes ]

     

    dann startet die virtualbox wieder von neuem ....

     

    genuegend speicher hab ich , cpu ist auch auf dem neuesten stand...

    maus/ tastatur hab ich auch an ps/2 anschluss dran ....
