Startproblem

Hallo,

 

ich habe seit neustem ein sehr nerviges Problem.

Wenn ich den Computer anschalte kommt zuert der Dell Ladebildschirm und danach der "Matrix Storage Manager screen" da werden dann meine Laufwerke aufgelistet, dieser Manager bleibt dann 1 Minute(!) da und macht nichts, dann erst geht er weg und das System fährt hoch:(

 

Was kann ich gegen diese lange wartezeit tun?

Hi.

 

Ich kenne diesen "Matrix Storage Manager" nicht, aber ich denke, in der Konfig dieses Tools kannst du einstellen, ob er beim Systemstart eingeblendet wird oder nicht. Einfach mal einen Blick in die Doku werfen. :wink2:

 

Hast du vorher was daran verändert?

Nein, verändert habe ich nichts, und an diesem manager kann man nicht wirklich was einstellen.

Wird das Teil überhaupt gebraucht, also hast du ein RAID darauf eingerichtet? Wenn nicht, kannst du den Controller im BIOS auch deaktivieren.

Enabling/Disabling RAID in BIOS

 

Use the following steps to enable RAID in the system BIOS:

The instructions listed below are specific to motherboards manufactured by Intel with

a supported Intel chipset. The specific BIOS settings on non-Intel manufactured

motherboards may differ. Refer to the motherboard documentation or contact the

motherboard manufacturer or your place of purchase for specific instructions. Always

follow the instructions that are provided with your motherboard.

 

1. Press the <F2> key after the Power-On-Self-Test (POST) memory test begins.

2. Select the Advanced menu, then the Drive Configuration menu.

3. Switch the Drive Mode option from Legacy to Enhanced.

4. Enable Intel® RAID Technology.

5. Press the <F10> key to save the BIOS settings and exit the BIOS Setup program.

Besorg dir die Doku zu deinem Controller bzw. Mainboard, da steht alles drin. ;)
