Offline Ordner -Pfad

Hallo,

wenn ich die Offlineordnerfunktion aktiviert habe, werden

die Offlinedatein irgendwo in Windowsverzeichnis

gespeichert. Wie kann ich festlegen das alles

Offlinedatein z.b. auf Lfw D gespeichert werden sollen. :suspect:

You can use Windows 2000 to make mapped drives available offline by caching local copies of the files in these drives. By default, the cached copies of these files are stored on the system drive in the %systemroot%\csc hidden folder.

It may be useful to change the drive or partition where files in the client-side cache are stored. To do this, you can use the Cachemov.exe tool that is part of the Windows 2000 Resource Kit.

When an administrator runs Cachemov.exe, the administrator has the option to select any other local drive to move the cache to. Cachemov.exe will create a new hidden folder called CSC in the root of the drive you selected , and then move the existing client-side cached files into this folder. Das ist soweit gut, aber ich bräuchte da was für WindowsXP ! :suspect:

Da die Technik bei XP exakt dieselbe ist, würde ich mal aus dem Bauch heraus behaupten, dass es bei XP genauso funktioniert. Nur das Tool braucht man vom W2k ResourceKit.

Nein, die kann man nicht downloaden. Es gibt zwar einige frei erhältliche Resource Kit Tools bei MS zum Download

aber das cachmov.exe ist nicht dabei.

Habe auf einer alten TechNet Resource Kits CD 2001 das Tool gefunden hab es auch beigefügt, allerdings gibt es bei XP folgende Fehlermeldung : "Faild to reset security on cache".

Die Version von den Tool ist 1.0, vielleicht gibt es auch ein aktuelleres. :(

Es liegt wirklich rein an der Sprachversion.

Man muss eine Gruppe "Administrators" anlegen denen Benutzer bzw. Administrator volle Berechtigungen geben.

Nun muss die Gruppe "Administrators" dem Verzeichnis CSC (im Windows-Pfad) und der neuen Quelle hinzugefügt. (nur mit NTFS)

Dann läuft das Tool durch :D
