C Dateizugriff: "Der angegebene Netzwerkname ist nicht mehr verfügbar"

Hallo zusammen,

wir nutzen W2k3 SP2 Domänencontroller (DHCP, DNS) auch als Dateiserver. Nun habe ich an diesen eine Buffalo Linkstation Pro angeschlossen. Der Maschine den Namen "NAS" und eine fest LAN IP zugewiesen.

Wenn ich nun über \\nas oder \\192.168.100.5 auf die NAS zugreifen will, erhalte ich immer den Fehler: "Der angegebene Netzwerkname ist nicht mehr verfügbar"
Probiere ich es danach nochmal erhalte ich den Fehler "Unerwarteter Netzwerkfehler".

Bei anderen Windows PCs im LAN funktioniert der Zugriff auf die NAS problemlos, es scheint also an der w2k3 Konfiguration zu liegen.

Was denkt ihr, könnte das Problem sein?

die Buffalo NAS hängt ganz normal am Switch.
Habe es soweit rekonstruiert, dass es seit Windows 2003 Updates besteht.

Bei Buffalo steht dies zu dem Thema, wenn ich über secpol.msc zur u.g. Stelle gehe, ist "send NTLM only" ausgewählt und ausgegraut und die anderen Felder nicht auswählbar.

But NTLMv2 isn't available for the current SMB implementations on all NAS devices using an older version of the Samba server. The connection will be rejected and the user will be asked again and again for user name and password. Solution: Open the control panel, make sure you're using the classic view, double click on "Administrative Tools" There is an item "Local Security Policy"- open it. Alternativ click the start button and type secpol.msc in the search function. Browse to "Local Policies" -> "Security Options". Apply the settings. On Vista Home or Home Premium there is only the way of changing the registry entry. Open the registry editor. (Start- type regedit) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlLsa] "LmCompatibilityLevel" Set the value to 2 and if you have further problems to 1. Restart the PC after changing the registry. Otherwise all changes you made are not valid. Please note that NTLM has security problems.
