Netinstall

Hallo ich bin im Moment mit der Softwareverteilung betreut und soll mit netinstall pakete erstellen mit den es möglich ist die Software auf allen pc´s im netzwerk zu verteilen. ich habe schon einige pakete problemlos erstellen können (Z. B. Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 als MSI Paket, Oracle, Winzip, Skype etc.). Das Streckenpferd ist die Erstellung des Ms-Office Pakets. Ich habe bei der Installation das Office Ressource Kit (ORK) (hoffentlich nicht Falsch) benutzt und nach der Erstellung des MSA Fiels mit dem Wininstaller versucht einen Snapshot des System zu machen um dan das MSI Fiel zu erstellen. Das hat soweit auch blenden funktionert, jedoch bekam ich beim ausführen des MSI Paket bei NETINSTALL immer folgende Fehlermeldung

INSTALLATION OF MSI-PACKAGE (NULL) FAILED! (XNIMSI.55F1) INSTALLATION ABORTED

Also falls jemand eine Lösung für das Problem hat...

Bist du über Projekt--> neues msi projekt gegangen?

Hi nochmal,

wenn du das Projekt aufrufst und auf skript gehst, dann mach einen doppelklick auf das Projekt. In der Leiste Parameter müsstest du folgendes eintragen:

COMPANYNAME="firmenname" PIDKEY=officeKeyOhneBindestriche

hast du in den einzelnen Tables vom msi Project was geändert? Zusätzliche Werte eingefügt oder vorhandene geändert???

Also das MSI-Package hab ich mit Wininstaller erstellt, nachdem ich mit dem Resource Kit ein ms? file erstellt hab. Das msi-paket kann ich auch einzeln installieren, aber sobald ich ich mit netinstall versuche hängt er sich mit der oben gesagten fehlermeldung auf....

Ok, ich hab den Fehler gefunden...

Ich hab unter den Scripteinstellungen nocheinmal neu initialisiert.
bei dem maskenfeld msi-paket das gewünschte msi paket ausgewählt,
bei der installation maschienenbezogen und bei advertisment "entsprechend der Netinstall Projekteinstellungen" ...

Danach hat funktioniert. Parameter musste ich keine Mitgeben, da das MSI-Paket schon ein zusammengefasste office inklusiv SP´s und Power Tools war.

die ice-meldungen sínd vbs oder dll's, welche die abhaengigkeiten innerhalb der msi-datenbank nochmals ueberpruefen. diese warnings oder errors haben aber nichts mit der "installationsfaehigkeit" des pakets zu tun... i.e. auch ein paket mit tausend errors/warnings kann sich einwandfrei installieren, es sind "nur" die msi regeln verletzt worden...

Öhm, wenn ich das richtig verstanden hab, hast du das OfficePaket mit dem ORK angepasst, dann installietr und anschliessend ein Snapshot der Installation gemacht?
Warum machst du ein Snapshot, wenn das Office doch schon als MSI-Paket vorliegt?

Ich hab die erfahrung gemacht, das das Office bei Snapshot-Installationen zu viele Probleme macht und installier seitdem lieber per commandozeile und msiexec aus einer Freigabe heraus, wenn meine Verteilungssoftware nicht mit MSI und MST umgehen kann.
