Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 SP1 will Release to Manufacturing (RTM) today. On February 16, both will be available to current customers of the Windows Volume Licensing program, as well as subscribers to Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) and TechNet. On February 22, both will be available to all customers through Windows Update and will also come preinstalled on new servers ordered.

Kann man den SP1 auch auf dem SBS 2011 installieren oder wird davon abgeraten? Ich kann mich noch dunkel an den SBS 2003 und einem SP erinnern - gab nur Probleme...

hm, ist ja nicht sehr aufschlussreich Einfach nur NO.
Kennt jemand noch Gründe, was gegen den SP1 für den SBS2011 spricht? Werde ihn zwar jetzt nicht installieren, würde aber gerne wissen warum

My original guess was that it wouldn't.
SBS2011 does use the same core as Server Standard 2008 R2 but because some of the services it has integrated within it, the Service Pack would break these.
It was the same with SBS2008. A special release was made of the service pack for SBS2008, which came out about 4 months after the Server Standard SP was released. SBS2011 will more then likely be the same way.
I was asking this question just to be sure nothing had changed with this line of thinking. On top of that, since SBS2011 was released recently, it's very possible that it already contains most, if not all, of the content from the SP, rendering the need for the SP null.
