Kann mir DAS mal jemand erklären (Taskplaner)
Hallo !
Geplante Taskt sind ja an sich keine große Sache. Eigentlich. Kann mir mal jemand bitte die Logic erklären die hinter dieser Frage/Antwort steckt?
Frage:
You are your company's network administrator. Your corporate network consists of a single
Active Directory Domain. All servers run Windows Server 2003, and all client computers run
Windows XP Professional. The network contains a member server named BkpSrv, which
is equipped with a locally attached tape drive. You configure a backup job on BkpSrv to
back up user data on a file server named Server1. The job is scheduled to run every
Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 P.M. The job successfully runs for several months.
Then, your manager informs you that due to the company's production schedule changes,
users will make changes to their data on Server1 more frequently during the next month.
Therefore, during the next month, you are required to run this backup job every weekday.
You want to accomplish this task with the least administrative effort.

The easiest way to accomplish the task in this scenario is to open the properties of the existing backup job on the Schedule Jobs tab in the Backup utility and configure a second schedule. The Schedule tab of a scheduled job's Properties sheet provides a wide range of scheduling options. The existing backup job is scheduled to run weekly. When Weekly is selected from the Schedule Task drop-down list box on the Schedule tab of the job, a checkbox appears for each day of the week. At present, the checkboxes for
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are selected. You should select Show multiple schedules. When this option is selected, a drop-down list box with the list of schedules appears on the Schedule tab of the job's properties sheet. You should click New, select Weekly from the Schedule Task drop-down list box, select the checkboxes for Tuesday and Friday, click Advanced and specify the start and end dates for the second schedule. You do not need to create another backup job in addition to or instead of the existing job. You cannot modify the existing schedule so that a single schedule would meet the requirements of the scenario. The scenario requires two schedules so two jobs must exist.
Warum zum Teufel behaupten die das man den existierenden Job nicht modifizieren kann? Einfach auf eigenschaften-> und die haken für Dienstag und Freitag reinhaken. Warum ein extra job für die 2 Tage? Fin ich unsinnig. Kann mir das evtl. Jemand erläutern?
Ach so, die Frage ist ausm Transcender rauskopiert, also aus keinem Braindump o.ä.
