Die neuen 3750X und 3560 Switche bieten ja das Feature das PowerStack (PowerSharing) ich hätte dazu eine Frage:

Angenommen man möchte zum Beispiel 2x 3750X als StackWise Stack betrieben (Core) und einen 3560 Switch alleine betreiben (Client Access Switch). Ist es dann dennoch möglich über diese 3 Switche ein PowerStack zu realisieren, oder ist es das nur über die 2 3750 Switche Möglich?

da das ein Feature ist das mit den 3750X eingeführt wird, kannst du dich da mit den 3560 wohl brausen gehen

ah, gibts auch für 3560X

wenn man sich hier die star topology anschaut, sollte das kein problem sein, der powerstack läuft ja unabhängig vom stackwise stack

A. No. The standalone switches do not have the capability to form a ring topology and share power. Cisco StackPower and StackWise Plus are features of the stackable switches.
